waxing

Does waxing hurt?
Only for a second. It’s like pulling off a bandaid.

Will my hair grow back thicker after waxing?
No. Hair actually grows in three phases.  The first hair growth that appears is the hair that was inaccessible during the wax session since it was still beneath the surface.  The second phase of growth  will follow close behind, and the third phase will be the last to come back as it was the hair waxed out by the roots. So you will in fact see less hair reappear the more you keep up on the treatments.

massage

What’s the difference between swedish massage and deep tissue massage?

Deep tissue massage builds on Swedish massage employing many of its basic strokes, but applying more pressure. Swedish massage is typically performed with the hands and fingertips, using long strokes and kneading as it’s main techniques. Deep Tissue massage also employs elbows and forearms to reach deep layers of muscle tissue.

Do I need to take off all of my clothes for a massage?

Each client is welcome to disrobe to their comfort level. Many leave their under garments on. The client will be draped appropriately with blankets during each phase of the massage to protect their privacy and vulnerability.
